The first manual wheelchair dance training in Canada
In 2025, Dance Curator Shay Erlich and Dancemakers received a substantial grant from the Canada Council for the Arts to develop Canada’s first manual wheelchair dance online training module!
We brought together manual wheelchair dancers from across Canada to film and created 8 training videos.
The videos are currently being edited for the widest range of accessibility features for distribution.
