Artrude Porte is an Ottawa-born actor with a deep love for storytelling. She began acting at age 11, training at The Acting Company, the Ottawa School of Speech and Drama, and the National Arts Centre. Her past theatre credits include Goodbye, I’ve Only Blamed Myself, and Lexture. Artrude is passionate about the connection between storytelling and movement, using performance as a way to express emotion, identity and lived experience. She also runs a YouTube channel where she uses comedy to explore disability rights and mental health. Artrude brings a bold, humorous voice to everything she creates.
