Angela Josephine

Angela Josephine is a fusion dancer, choreographer, director, event producer and teacher living in Hamilton, Ontario. She is known for her expressive and evocative work that combines her 13 years of training in various dance styles, to create a style that defies genre. You can catch Angela across Canadian stages as a soloist, with various dance collaborators, and with the adult team at Defining Movement Dance. In 2023, Angela formed Obsidian Dance Company as the artistic director and choreographer, and has been enjoying creating and showcasing exciting new work. Most recently, they were selected to be a part of Bridge Street Dance in New York and Alchemy Fest in Ottawa.
