A week of massage, acupuncture, tattoos and more for trans and non-binary dancers, artists and creators.
GOODIE BAG! was an installation and event built to to nourish the bodies, souls, hearts, and asses of trans* dancers and performers.
It took place in January 2023 in the chamber and antechamber of Buddies in Bad Times Theatre. Within the chamber was a treatment table surrounded by a suspended tinsel circle.
Participants were offered free massage, tattoo, acupuncture, and portrait sessions. Afterwards they could take home a goodie bag of free treats like Annie’s mac and cheese, a single cigarette or a coupon for a haircut.
