Are you interested in contributing to Dancemakers’ growth and change?
Are you dedicated to disability justice, anti-colonial & abolitionist practices and changing how Toronto (and Canada’s) supports dance?
Over a three-year term, board members will support the Co-Artistic Producers with experimental programming and reflective processes.
We especially welcome nominations for Black, Indigenous and people of colour as well as those who live with visible and/or invisible disabilities.
Please let us know if you (or someone you know) would be interested in helping shape Dancemakers through governance.

Incoming President
Contribute to the Dancemakers Board of Directors through working closely with Dancemakers’ Co-Artistic Producers to ensure operations are productive and generous.
Secretary
Contribute to the Dancemakers Board of Directors through taking notes, keeping records and working closely with Dancemakers’ Co-Artistic Producers to ensure that minutes and documents are organized and clear.
Accessibility Point Person
Offer perspectives and lived-experience on the policies and practices related to how Dancemakers engages in Disability Justice now and moving forward into the future.
