Born and raised in Toronto, Canada and having danced since childhood, Janice’s formal dance journey began in high school, where she eagerly joined dance teams and immersed herself in the performing arts. During this time, she became a member of S.T.O.P.P. (Student Triumph Over Peer Pressure). Following high school, Janice pursued her passion by attending York University’s Dance Program. While studying, she expanded her training and explored a variety of dance styles, including hip-hop, dancehall, and Afro dance. Through this exploration, she discovered where her heart truly belonged: Afro dance. Its rich cultural roots, powerful storytelling, and vibrant energy resonated deeply with her and became the foundation of her artistic identity.

Over the years, Janice has built an impressive career within the dance industry, performing alongside and working with internationally recognized artists such as Asake, Yemi Alade, Mr. Eazi, and many others. She has also had the opportunity to open for global superstars including Burna Boy, Davido, and Kizz Daniel. These accomplishments were made possible through her dedication, relentless work ethic, and the support of the dance communities that helped shape her journey, including renowned crews such as Real 3D and theTEAM.

Throughout her career, Janice has continued to refine her craft under the guidance of respected industry professionals, including Martin “Prempz” Prempeh, Bizzy Boom, and other influential mentors. Her talents extend beyond performance, as she has also established herself as a choreographer, creating work for artists such as Adekunle Gold and KJ Spio. Today, Janice remains committed to using dance as a tool for empowerment, expression, and community impact. Through teaching, she hopes to inspire confidence, cultivate talent, and create meaningful opportunities for the next generation of artists.
