Artist
Eve Tagny is a Tiohtià:ke/Montreal-based artist. Her practice adopts a poetic approach to consider landscapes and gardens as sites shaped by cycles of rejuvenation tangled with the legacies of colonial expansion, capital accumulation, private ownership and human activity. Weaving lens-based media, installation, text and performance, she explores embodied expressions of grief and resiliency, in correlation with nature’s rhythms, cycles and materiality.
