Curatorial Statement

I aim to connect dance to social and political phenomenons in the past and present. Through selecting and supporting dance artists through inside and outside of project development, I hope to cultivate an environment that challenges the distinction between those who are artistic and those who aren’t, instead emphasizing innate creativity within all peoples and encouraging the use of that creativity to imagine more equitable futures.
