Dancemakers Resident Artists Dana Michel and Zoja Smutny will cap off their first year of research with a public presentation of what they’ve been working on. These two astounding dance artists will show their ideas, discuss where their work is headed, and offer audiences a rarely seen glimpse of the creative process.

Zoja Smutny will present her work-in-progress, Rosé Porn. Bringing dance together with music and the visual arts, Rosé Porn experiments with realizing a concept album through both live and recorded actions in the context of a gallery.

Dana Michel has been working with Dancemakers artists to investigate her past life and practices, following on from an initial development which took the shape of a reinterpretation of her previous work, 1976.
